How to weld aluminum alloy profiles
1. Tungsten argon arc welding
Tungsten argon arc welding method is mainly used for aluminum alloy, which is a better welding method, but tungsten argon arc welding equipment is more complex and not suitable for operation in open air conditions.
2. Resistance spot welding, seam welding
This welding method can be used to weld aluminum alloy sheets with a thickness of less than 5mm. However, the equipment used in welding is more complicated, the welding current is large, and the productivity is high, which is especially suitable for parts and components produced in large quantities.
3. Pulse TIG welding
Pulse TIG welding can improve the stability in the welding process, and the parameters can be adjusted to control the arc power and weld forming. The weldment has small deformation and small heat-affected zone, especially suitable for thin plate, full-position welding and other occasions, as well as the welding of forged aluminum, duralumin, superduralumin, etc. with strong heat sensitivity.
4. Friction stir welding
Friction stir welding first and mainly in the aluminum alloy, magnesium alloy and other light metal structure field has been more and more widely used, the biggest feature of this method is that the welding temperature is lower than the melting point of the material, can avoid the cracks, pores and other defects caused by fusion welding.
XTM Aluminum company are specialized in the production of aluminum extrusion profiles like aluminum tile trims, floor trims, edges, transitions, strips, partitions, sections, pipes, tubes, etc. They are applicable for stairs, floors, corners, office furniture, LED lighting, air vent diffusers, kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, partition screens, etc.
